Toomuchmoney-Tahiti

We have unfortunately not really written any story about Tahiti yet...
In some ways, it was a bit of a desapointment, not only because we needed to ask for a mortgage every time we needed to drink a beer, but also because it doesn´t look half as nice as on the glossy travel brochures.
Maybe the only way to experience the real Tahiti is to book into a $200 a night hotel and live the life of an understressed Rotschild... We were on Morea, the closest island to the mainland, and we stayed at Chez Joseline, a backpacker joint...

The last day was super fun though: snorkling head to head with hundreds of blacktip sharks and swimming with ultra cuddly giant sting rays was just it!

If you ever think about going there for a romantic vacation in Paradise, think again, and go to Thailand or Malaysia, where you will get 100 times your money and time worth! (although, the experience of crossing the timezone line and actually going back one day in time was just great! We left Australia on monday at 3pm, and arrived in Tahiti, 18 hours later, on the same monday at 2pm... It was magic! We reccon that if we do that every year, we will never ever grow older again!)
